The Nicest Camping Site in France

I happened on a camping site because by chance I needed a few nights accommodation.
This was about the only place in the region that was open:

I can recommend this site as the nicest most friendly owner occupied camp site that I have ever visited in France.

They have little bar and this was Saturday night. Lots of good fun, no loutish behaviour, and all quite by 11.00pm. I suspect it is popular in the high season with the campers.

The site is quite wooded but it has charm and character.

Signs at the front are a bit confusing but the site is easy to find

They hadn't had rain since Easter!

It is a lot bigger than you think. I met some 'regulars' that come back year upon year just to be in this area and on this site.

Cute little pathways and 'hidden' corners to discover.

And the view from the upper levels is sublime.
End of post.

Glad you're enjoying the French hospitality. Their family run sites can be absolute treasures.
We've decided to give Black Forest a miss this year - don't fancy e coli!!! So we're off to Brittany instead.
Hope we can still read your blog on our return.
Enjoy the rest of your trip and keep safe. Linda
