Cote D'Azure

My destination for a stay of a few days is Cavaliere, a small seaside town (resort really) because this is one of the most beautiful parts of the world, and, though highly developed retains an air of class and style.

So I passed Sainte Maxime by quickly

Didn't stop for St Tropez..

And arrived at Cavaliere. We rented one of these apartments a few year's ago. We had a lovely holiday and the weather round here is as good as it gets anywhere.

This is the prettiest Post Office in the world. Even beats, by a nose, the one in Wells, because it is sunny and 26deg when I took this pic yesterday!

The village square is shaded by Plane trees. Because they play Petanque like good French people do.

There are extensive cycle tracks and they use the old railway lines. This tunnel is brilliant because the breeze blows through it and you can stand still and cool off from your sweaty exercise.

The view west

Those bl****y rocks are floating again.

Prickly plant pretty flowers.

The azure sea, that's why they call it the Azure coast.
End of post.
