A week too soon!

I have never been to Monaco and it was a destination on my route. Pictures do not give the real impression when you look down from about 1000ft into the Principality. The colours are the same as they put on banknotes, the colour of money.

Not that many yachts in the harbour....yet.

Pootling down towards the harbour we came across funny numbers and a lot of armco barriers...

No 'no parking' signs so we stop for a look around.

Well would you believe it, its the Monaco Grand Prix and they are preparing the circuit for next weekend. No expense spared....

Pits are empty at the moment...

They have yet to paint the finishing line across the road..
